13. James Blair, born circa 1655, probably in Edinburgh, died 18 April 1743 in Williamsburg, Virginia, and buried in the churchyard there. He held a succession of prominent posts in the colonial government in Virginia and was the founder of William and Mary College. He married Sarah Harrison but died s.p.[1]
13. Archibald Blair, owned “Dr. Blair’s store” in Williamsburg and died in 1733, leaving issue.[2]
